APR is pleased to present the ultimate engine control unit (ECU) upgrade for the 2.0T EA888 Gen 3 engine with OPF/GPF!

APR’s ECU Upgrades provides an excellent leap in horsepower and torque while retaining OEM knock control sensitivity and other built in safety features. This results in an exciting and powerful upgrade, optimized for various fuel grades found around the world.

The APR Stage I ECU Upgrade is the first step towards making more power! This simple upgrade requires no engine hardware modifications and produces 274-284 HP with 307-317 FTLBS of torque on single OPF equipped vehicles (FWD), and 284-295 HP with 315-325 FTLBS of torque on dual OPF equipped vehicles (AWD). To get more power, the vehicle can be outfitted with an upgraded intake, intercooler, catback exhaust, turbocharger inlet, and various other bolt-on modifications all without requiring any new modifications to the ECU.

APR Stage 1 is available for 95 RON, 98 RON and 102 RON in the Rest of the World.

The APR Stage 3 IS38 ECU Upgrade is the next step towards making more power! This upgrade requires a factory Golf R/S3 IS38 Turbocharger with the factory DP / OPF, an APR Intake System, and APR Intercooler System and produces 339-351 HP with 337-381 FT-LBS of torque on single OPF equipped vehicles (FWD), and 351-365 HP with 340-382 FTLBS of torque on dual OPF equipped vehicles (AWD). Optionally a low torque version of this software is available that puts less stress on the factory clutch. To get more power, the vehicle can be outfitted with a catback exhaust, turbocharger inlet, and various other bolt-on modifications all without requiring any new modifications to the ECU.

APR Stage 3 IS38 is available for 95 RON, 98 RON and 102 RON in the Rest of the World.
